Hazel: :sorting books in the library:
Ridge: :flipping through the Book of the Multiverse:
Ridge: :stops at a certain section of the book, inspecting it closer:
Ridge: Interesting...
Hazel: :still sorting some books:
Ridge: :flipping through the sections, double-checking it before holding down the book with one hand and separating the pages from the book with the other:
Hazel: :pushes the last of the books back into place for now, before looking in his direction and tilting her head: :walks to the side of him: What are you doing?
Ridge: :finishes separating the pages of the book:
Ridge: Do you remember a vandal that broke in here some time ago, went by the name of Gabriel?
Hazel: :nods: I'm still wondering how he didn't get lost.
Ridge: Indeed, though that is a question for another day. In any case, I found a section of the book that Gabriel's vandalism hasn't integrated itself with yet, so I'm extracting it from the book before it can be. At the very least we can save the universes in this section from the influence of "Duck", as Gabriel called it.
Hazel: At least the name makes sense. Can't you just write him out of it though, like normal?
Ridge: :shakes his head: Gabriel somehow discovered a way to make an entity within the omniverse immune to the effects of the Book. it'd be impossible to get rid of him without destroying the book itself.
Hazel: Really? How could he have...? Well then, what are you going to do with the extracted pages?
Ridge: Well... :binding them in leather: If I keep them on hand, there's a chance Gabriel will try to steal it from me and vandalize it again. I can't exactly chain it to myself like the Book of the Multiverse, since it is too delicate and could be damaged if I were to do so, so instead...
Ridge: :hands her the leatherbound notebook: I'm entrusting it with you. I don't think Gabriel knows of you, so it should be safe if you hold onto it for me.
Hazel: :takes it and blinks: Really, me?
Ridge: Yes. Keep it safe. Don't let any outer forces interfere with it, not even yourself unless absolutely necessary; these universes are part of the omniverse that was set to auto-generate, so they will do best progressing on their own.
Hazel: :nods: Okay, I'll do my best.
Ridge: I'm sure you'll do fine. You are the one I trust most with this task.
Hazel: :nods, and reaches a both hands and the notebook behind her back, feeling around a bit, before there is a zipping noise, then another one and she crosses her arms in front of her with the notebook gone: Keeping it in my secret pocket should be fine, right?
Ridge: Yes, that should do.
Hazel: Okay. Is there anything else you need me to do, or keep track of?
Ridge: Continue with your usual duties. Check the notebook every once in a while, and report any significant events to me. I'd like to be able to keep track of what's going on in there.
Hazel: Okay. Just curious, how many universes did you take out?
Ridge: Well, I didn't count them, as I wanted to extract it quickly before Duck's influence could spread, but I believe there were no more than maybe five major universes in there. Of course, there are always sub-universes being generated, and with the auto-generation, there's a good chance more major universes might start showing up over time.
Hazel: Okay, I'll tell you if anything like that shows up.
Ridge: Alright.
Hazel: Nothing else you need, right?
Ridge: No, nothing else. Carry on with your duties if you wish, though feel free to take a break whenever you're ready for one. You've been at the books for a while now.
Hazel: Okay, thank you. Checking it once every day should be okay, right?
Ridge: Yes, that should do.
Hazel: :nods: Well I just finished sorting all of the books in that section over there, so I'll go and get something to eat now.
Hazel: I'll take care of the notebook as best as I can.
Ridge: Sounds good.
Hazel: :nods, before turning and walking off:
Due to Duck's influence in the Book of the Multiverse, and the inability to remove him, The Original removed a section of the book and entrusted this 'Notebook of the Neoverse' to Hazel. Gensokyo is where the Neoverse RP will be mainly centered.
Anyways, I'll be controlling pretty much every canon character. Currently the only known universes are Gensokyo. (Yes I know it's not the whole universe that's called Gensokyo but whatever.) Neoverse takes place after Touhou 14 - Double Dealing Character, but before 14.3 - Impossible Spell Card.
